Personality Of The Week: Natalie Dormer

Natalie Dormer (born 11 February 1982) is an English actress of film, television, and theatre. She is best known for her roles as Anne Boleyn in the Showtime series The Tudors and as Margaery Tyrell in the 2011 HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.

Six months after graduating from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, Dormer auditioned and won the role of Victoria in Casanova with Heath Ledger and Sienna Miller. This was her film debut and it was released in 2005. The director, Lasse Hallström, was so impressed with Dormer's comedic timing that he had the script writer expand her part. On the strength of her audition for the role and her performance, she secured a three-film deal with Disney Touchstone which was never exercised.
In 2005, Dormer also had a bit part in Distant Shores playing that of a Mobile Woman. After the filming of Casanova, Dormer was out of work for nine months and has said that "It was the best lesson I could have had in the first 12 months of my career". In 2006, Dormer guest-starred in an episode of Rebus entitled "The Falls", playing the character Phillippa Balfour.

In 2007 and 2008, she played Anne Boleyn in the first two seasons of The Tudors, for which she received positive reviews. Robert Abele of LA Weekly wrote, "Natalie Dormer presents a painterly exquisiteness and complexity in her portrayal of Anne Boleyn...[her] enigmatic, time-halting loveliness is a boon for The Tudors, and damn near worth losing your head over." After her character's death at the end of the second season, The Boston Herald noted that "Dormer's departure from 'The Tudors' leaves a void." Dormer is, in fact, descended of the British noblewoman Jane Dormer, a lady-in-waiting to Mary I. Jane Dormer's memoirs contain some evidence on Boleyn's actual age, which is still a source of much academic dispute.

A self-proclaimed poker lover, Dormer took part in the 2008 PartyPoker.com Women's World Open in London, where she came in second to Emma Kennedy in the Celebrity Heat. Dormer has stated that Cate Blanchett has been an influence in her career as an actress. On the subject of supernatural beliefs, she was quoted as saying: "I've got an open mind. I say I'm an atheist but I wouldn't mind being visited by a ghost". She is also a member of the London Fencing Academy. The very pretty sexy eyed Jodi who stars in the successful series "Prison Break" is a person worthy of note. Not just admired by so many men, but also have lots of fans in the global female camp as well.

odi Lyn O'Keefe (born October 10, 1978) is an American actress and model, who at age 17 portrayed Cassidy Bridges on Nash Bridges. She is also known for her role on Prison Break as Gretchen Morgan, a.k.a. "Susan B. Anthony".

Midway through her junior year high school O'Keefe left school to star on the soap opera Another World, playing Marguerite “Maggie” Cory. She then got a role on Nash Bridges, playing Cassidy, the daughter of Don Johnson’s title character. She and her mother moved to Hollywood, so O'Keefe completed her schooling by mail.

O'Keefe made her big screen debut in 1998 in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later and later starred in such films as The Crow: Salvation, Whatever It Takes and Devil In The Flesh 2. In 1999, she starred in the teen film She's All That (1999) alongside Freddie Prinze Jr and Rachael Leigh Cook. When asked if it was hard to play her character, a high school prima donna, she replied, “Everybody knew a Taylor Vaughan in high school. Working in show business, you meet girls like that every day.”

O'Keefe kept on filming both movies and Nash Bridges until the series ended in 2001. Later films have been Out for Blood where she played a vampire named Layla Simmons and Venice Underground. In 2005, she appeared for three episodes in the first season of Boston Legal.

O'Keefe was also in 3 Doors Down's video "Let Me Go", alongside Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewives. She joined the cast of Prison Break in 2007.

She appeared in episodes of the television series' Charmed, The Evidence, Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory, Dharma & Greg and Tru Calling. In 2009 she appeared in the standalone add-on of the video game Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising.

On 14 August 2010 O'Keefe appeared as Kylie Burch in the Hallmark Original Movie Class. She also appeared in the web series Soul Fire Rising as Lilith Reborn for three episodes.

On 22 June 2011 O'Keefe started her own clothing line Queen George Clothing.

On 19 September 2011 O'Keefe had a guest role as Isabella in the Two and a Half Men Season 9 episode "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt". She appeared the January 26, 2012 episode ofThe Finder as Lisa and Mandy. She also appeared as Emily Bennett in the thriller Exposed. Enjoy more of her photos below:
